Valentine’s Day Inspired Outfits

Valentine’s Day is one of our favorite holidays at Stylebar. It definitely has changed over the years from when we were in high school and you felt anxious that valentine’s day needed to look like a scene from a romantic movie. Fast forward a few years and now and it’s a a reason to go out and celebrate with friends or significant other by coming up with creative ways to make an event out of it.   So whether you are planning a fun party with friends or romantic date for two, the ladies from PartyChix and Stylebar  have you covered.

Night out with the girls

Get your party pants on and call your girls.  Whether you are hitting up a wine bar or local dive, spending time with the ladies is always a good time.  We pulled pieces that would consist of more than one outfit ensuring you get the most out of your hard earned money.

Off-the-shoulder tops show off your décolletage while the fabric keeps it casual.  We pair that with deep blue skinny jeans and nude bootie.  As far as accessories simple is the way to go, try a rose gold choker or go completely bare.  If you are heading to somewhere fancy, a suede skirt is a beautiful feminine touch.  Wear a lace-up top and the nude booties for the casual-not-so-casual statement.  We chose the deep red sweeper jacket because you can wear with both outfits.  These jackets are great with skirts, which is sometimes the most difficult piece to find when you want to bundle up without looking sloppy.

Date Night with the New Boy

Hello, gorgeous.  Want to make a statement but don’t want to look like you tried?  These simple but elegant dresses can easily take you from dinner date to late night.  Gray is the new black as it matches pretty much everything, but presents a more care free attitude.  We fell in love with these gray heels.  We stuck with rose gold jewelry pieces to fit our valentine’s theme and the deep red clutch is versatile even after the night is over.

Cozy movie and dinner

Decided to stay in? We are all for cozy and comfortable.  For a carefree yet put together look we chose oversized jumpers.   Now, when we say oversized we do not mean potato sacks.  If you are going to wear something loose on top make sure you make the bottom half more fitted.  Break out those leggings or jeans with some stretch.  We also found these luxe velvet slip-ons sneakers that replace the average tennis shoe.  As far accessorizing we steered towards silver with a touch of pink.  The watch is absolutely adorable.

Group Date

This is one of personal favorite ways to spend Valentine’s day! Grab your bestie couple.  We pulled two looks wear your pieces can mix and match.  If you are going someplace sexy we say grab those over-the-knee boots and sweater dress.  If you are up for something more low key, our olive pant and blouse with white tennis shoes will keep you looking cool and chic.  Again we grabbed those rose gold jewelry pieces that we can’t get enough of.  Looking to mix and match?  Try the blouse with some skinny jeans or velvet skirt paired with the black boots and watch.
